Alexandria Rendell

I am thrilled to be one of MCI’s first student interns. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Psychology and English at St. Thomas University, and in the process of completing a Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I have a diverse background in long term childcare and hospitality, as well as organic cosmetic science.

I am passionate about the life experience and believe that everyone deserves to be the expert of their own lives. My goal in this profession is to encourage agency, healing, and self-compassion. I like to offer a warm, non-judgmental space to get curious, explore, and expand self-awareness and self-acceptance. Other interests of mine include creative arts, music, and yoga. All of which I hope to incorporate in future therapeutic training.

As a student intern I am available to work with individuals ages 12 and above. My areas of interest include trauma, neurodivergence, resilience and stress management, as well as relationships, anxiety, and depression. I am committed to a culturally responsive and socially just practice, using a client-centered approach and a trauma-informed lens. As a therapist I look forward to helping others develop a powerful relationship with themselves. Healing looks different for everyone, and I hope to provide a unique therapeutic experience working together on what matters most to you.
