Mads – Mental Health Student Practitioner (They/Them)

Since I was a kid, I echoed a dream of becoming an aid to others. Receiving my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Mount Royal University, I then went on to pursue my Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. During this time, I took great interest in the areas of gender, sexuality, spirituality, relationship dynamics and trauma.

In a therapeutic setting, I utilize a person-centered approach which asserts the client as the expert in their experiences. I also implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities to best suit each client and their unique needs.

In a therapeutic setting, I offer a non-judgemental, empathetic environment fuelled by curiosity.

What I love most about helping people is the idea of both teaching and learning as we navigate each session. I look forward to collaborating alongside you in this journey we call life.
